I'm trying to CONTAIN my excitement - Science 24/8 and 25/8

LO : Understand what the 5 senses and prepare for  /carry out an experiment

Smell Ya Later

Aim
I aim to get better with my nose so that I can guess which object is in which container

Equipment
  • An Adult - Link
  • A Group of Three or Four - Link
  • A blindfold - Link
  • A Opaque Container which is small - Link
  • Stuff that smell - Link
Method
  1. Before you start the experiment either Zach or Joel will poke small holes in the container so that you can smell through it. As shown in diagram A

  2. Either Zach or Joel will put one of these items into the container so that your ready to try it out. These items may be in Diagram B

  3. Zach or Joel will put an Number on the bottom of each container so it's you can do it number by number. As shown in Diagram C

  4. Zach or Joel will tape a piece of paper on the bottom of the container explaining which is in which. As shown in Diagram C
  5. The Leader of your group will blindfold the person who is doing the experiment
  6. The Person will try to guess which is in which from 1 to 10
  7. Make sure Jacob is writing down the guesses
  8. See if the person guessed correctly
Safety Procedure
Make sure you act mature around each smell and try not to break any of the containers

    I really like your post it's really informative. It looks like an awesome game and we would love to try it!
    I was really confused where the puns are? Was this meant to be funny or serious? Maybe next time instead of writing a long post you coud make a video and add text?

      Thanks for commenting of my post, The answer to your questions are no, it's not serious that what puns are suppose to be. The puns are also located at the blog title. The detail is better in writing than video. What do you think?

    I really like how you explained it, you did really well. It was really easy to understand and you have added lots of information. We would love to try this game in class so we will be informing the teachers of this. Maybe next time you could add a video of you doing this game.

    My name is Brooke and I am from Hornby Primary School. My opinion on "What things stink to you", here are some of my idea's on what thing's stink to me:
    Well, most of the air freshener's don't smell really nice, I found an air freshener (full) and it didn't smell really nice. So, we went to get a new one and I didn't like the smell of most of them, so we ended up with a bubblegum air freshener :)
