Yay! I'm Graduating! Oh wait... Never mind - Graduate profile for Term 2
My Graduate Profile for the End of Term 2
My goal is to be more people smart
I might need to pay more attention to what other people have to say and apply it to the work
To achieve this what will I have to do?
I'll have to ease my attention to others when they want to apply something to our work and apply it if it fits. I also need to not get carried away and do more of the work myself
How can others help me achieve my goal
By giving me more ideas to add to the task the I or the group is doing
I ain't the FIRST one - Term 1 Writing 2017
Your first day at Hornby
BEEP! The sound of the car locking was alarming to anyone nearby. “Good Luck!” Mum told me on the way out of the car. “I don’t need luck I’ve done this around 7 times!” I replied annoyed… “Ok” Mum told me as she left. Sky was beside me tugging my shirt. “See you later!” Sky muttered under her breath. “Aren't ya gonna be in year 3 now”
“Yeah! See ya Zach!” Sky agreed as she strolled into her school… I stepped into Hornby High without hesitation.
I started to jog to J7 when I noticed a kid sitting on a seat alone. “Hi, there!” I began
“Hi” The kid replied
“Are you new?” I asked
“Yeah” The Kid Answered
“Me too!”
“I’m Zach what’s your name?”
“Carl”
We kept on chatting until the bell went, we had no idea what to do so when everyone was lining up we decided to join in. As we strolled into the classroom, Miss Richardson did the role with ease after that we arrived at assembly. Carl and I sat at the front because we were new. A girl sat down next to us confused. “Heya” I greeted. “Hi…” The Brunette girl replied.
“Are you new?” I asked again
“Yeah” She answered
“Me too!”
I'm TOO HIGH - Scientific report on paper planes | 5/4/2017, 10/4/2017 and 12/4/17
Aim:
We are trying to make a perfect airplane that can fly the furthest and straightest but to do that we need to understand how airplanes fly and the forces that help it fly as far and as accurate as it can be!
Hypothesis:
I believe that our plane can go far in distance but it might not be about to be as accurate as it we expect. Nathans plane twirls in the wind which makes the accuracy fail... or maybe...
Forces on a paper plane:
When you make the plane lift off there are certain forces that make the plane balance. These forces are lift, gravity, drag, push..
Issac Newtons Laws:
Results
The plane that Nathan made flies really far by it doesn't do straight as I have discovered when Nathan threw the plane
Discussion
I might try to remake Nathans plane so that it can fly straighter and farther

1. Objects continue to move unless an unbalanced force pushes or pulls on them
2 . Force = Mass x Acceleration
Methods:
Nathan made the plane using just a piece of paper... I don't know... Results

The Census didn't tell you that! - Statistics Investigation 12/4/16
What are we learning
We are learning to understand more about statistic and use our new stuff we learnt to predict some stuff in our investigation! The investigation is to predict what the population would be by the next census which is 2018
How does this work show my learning
This work shows my learning by the graphs my group has made! I also made an conclusion explaining what I've learnt at the end
If I did this task again what would I do differently
I would make the layout of the poster completly different so that it is more easier to read and you could understand it better
Something I am wondering or a question I have after completing this work
I am interesting in how they do the census do they go to each door asking "How much people are in this house?" or do they do to the hospital and ask "How many birth certificates do you have?" That is what I'm interested in

Let if FALL | Kete - Forces | 10/4/17
Equipment
1x - Basketball
1x - 5kg medicine ball
Prediction
I think that the medicine ball will fall down first
The reason why is that the sand inside has more weight than the Basketball which makes the weight way larger so that it will fall down first!

May the FORCE be with you | Kete - Forces 10/4/17
Force=Mass x Acceleration is an explaining force. The more Acceleration you make on an object makes the speed increase which makes the mass increase and if it in a bucket the mass will get to much and most probably break

Discovering EXCELLENCE! - Discover the World "Kupe" Assessment Report 7/4/17
What are we learning
We are learning about the identity and how each tasks show a certain thing towards the relationship between you/others and New Zealand!
How I think this work shows my learning
These tasks show my learning by the thought I took towards certain tasks, For example the National Anthem remake, I had to think about the lyrics and about the importance of an releationship between everyone and the country.
If I did this task again what would I do differently?
I would choose the same tasks but do more in the time frame. For example I spent more time on the songs and National Anthem Lyrics and I didn't have time to add voice overs for the songs and more questions for the quiz.
Something I am wondering or a question I have from completing this work
I am wondering if we change the national Anthem with different lyrics what type of system would it go through for it to be changed? Would it go through a vote if the country like it and agrees or will it just go straight to the Prime Minister and he looks at it and does it himself... That's what I'm curious about.

KEEP DANCING! - Drama 6/4/2017
Why do people dance?
To let out emotion. When you are dancing you dance in a theme, mood or speed. For example when you dance in a hip hop theme, you express a swag type of mood out and the speed can range from medium and fast.
People dance because...
They want to express the way you dance to others. The way you dance can range from boring to fun, for example when you do ballroom dancing it might be boring and if you do hip hop it could be fun.
